CMP and CCNet get together once per month to review and rate Conservation Standards guidance resources upon request. This vetting process is designed to help conservation practitioners find the best materials on a particular topic or the most appropriate guidance or tool for their specific needs. You can learn more about what the Committee does and does not vet, the ranking system, the criteria used, and how members deal with different languages here. If you have guidance materials related to the Conservation Standards that you would like the committee to review, or if you would like to join the Committee, please contact Marcia Brown.
Over the past few months, the committee has reviewed and posted the following case studies and guidance:
- Conservation Essentials: Vital skills for implementing and managing conservation projects
- Salt Marsh Bird Conservation Plan for the Atlantic Coast
- Conservation Enterprises: Using a theory of change approach to synthesize lessons from USAID biodiversity projects
- USAID — Effectiveness of Enterprises as a Conservation Strategy
