In 2016 The Conservation Coaches Network (CCNet) and The Conservation Measures Partnership (CMP) jointly launched a competition for Adaptive Management Case Studies. We received 10 excellent entries. Our judges narrowed these entries down to the top five, which were then voted on via crowd sourcing.
Congratulations to the winner, Twenty years and counting: adaptive management of Chimpanzee habitat in Tanzania, by the Jane Goodall Institute, who have won a $2,000 travel gift and a one-year subscription to Miradi.
Second place, by a whisker, was awarded to Full cycle adaptive management in Australia’s arid rangelands by Bush Heritage Australia.
Third place was awarded to 25 years of adaptive management in the Cascade Head Preserve and Salmon River Watershed, Oregon USA by the Nature Conservancy.
