Story from Sara Gottlieb, TNC-Georgia, and George Schuler, TNC-New York.
During a recent workshop in Alabama, The River Network—an organization the helps groups across the US champion clean, ample water—learned how to use the Open Standards in their freshwater conservation work. The organization is now working with the trainers, CCNet coaches Sara Gottlieb and George Schuler, on a proposal for funding to create Open Standards training modules to share with watershed groups in network. By bringing stakeholders to the table to develop a shared vision for watershed conservation, the Open Standards can help ensure sustainable water resources across the United States.
